  16.           aaaaddddddddffffttttiiiinnnnffffoooo reads a troff font file and adds some additional
  17.           font-metric information that is used by the groff system.
  18.           The font file with the information added is written on the
  19.           standard output.  The information added is guessed using
  20.           some parametric information about the font and assumptions
  21.           about the traditional troff names for characters.  The main
  22.           information added is the heights and depths of characters.
  23.           The _r_e_s and _u_n_i_t_w_i_d_t_h arguments should be the same as the
  24.           corresponding parameters in the DESC file; _f_o_n_t is the name
  25.           of the file describing the font; if _f_o_n_t ends with IIII the
  26.           font will be assumed to be italic.

  29.           Each of the options changes one of the parameters that is
  30.           used to derive the heights and depths.  Like the existing
  31.           quantities in the font file, each _v_a_l_u_e is in inches/_r_e_s for
  32.           a font whose point size is _u_n_i_t_w_i_d_t_h.  _p_a_r_a_m must be one of:
